The Antipodes K30 integrates two separately powered and isolated computation engines:
• A high power server engine to enable Server Apps to handle a large music library, re-assemble internet streams to recover the original file’s sound quality, handle DSP features without loss of quality, and to serve a clean digital stream to the Player App. The K30 server engine is second in audio performance only to the exceptional server engine used in the K50 and K40. The Server stage runs apps like Roon Server, Squeeze Server, HQPlayer Server, Minimserver, MiniDLNA, SONOS Server and PLEX Server.
• The K30 uses the same advanced player engine as is used in the K50, to run the selected Player App to provide high quality USB Audio output. The player engine runs Player Apps compatible with your chosen Server App, such as Roon Player, Squeeze Player, HQPlayer NAA and MPD.
